Who We Are

 

Monthly Roamers brings together a community of entrepreneurs, students, professionals and freelancers from all over the world to spend anywhere from one week to one month at a time working, exploring, traveling, and playing together in exciting locations around the world.

 

Our goal is to help you be inspired in your work and life by living and working or playing abroad with other like-minded LDS singles. This is an opportunity for you to foster new friendships, build a new network, and return home renewed.

 

 

 

Who Can Come

 

Monthly Roamers is for singles who want to live and/or work in a new place while meeting other singles. We’re looking for:

 

1) People who can work remotely.

• This includes anyone who has a job that would be willing to let them work remotely for a month.

• If your job, side project or education is mostly done from a computer with occasional meetings, let us help you have that conversation with your boss to allow you to work remotely for a month.

• Anyone can come, you don't need to be working to come. 

 

2) Anyone who wants an experience with new friends.

• This includes anyone looking for an opportunity to branch out of their everyday routine, refresh their life, and make new friends.

 

3) People who want to experience new cultures.

• If you’re in a transition period and want to have some fun, take a break with like-minded people.

 

Where We’re Going

 

We have exciting trips coming up for  2021. See below for details: 

 

Oahu, Hawaii - January 4 - February 1, 2021.

We will be staying at a beach house in Hawaii! This will be a group that will be able to come for 1 week - 4 weeks. You can come and just play for the week or work remotely if you prefer.

Ski Trip - TBD - March 2021

​

Koh Lanta, Thailand - May 1 -May 29, 2021

IF international travel is available, we will be traveling to Thailand for the month of May! Come for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks!

What’s Included

 

We want you to have a life-changing, hassle-free experience with us. That’s why we take care of the following:

 

1) Accommodations

• We will provide a private or shared room, in an apartment, house or hotel with other participants.

 

2) Co-working Space - (For month trips)

• You will have daily access to a local co-working space (if available) that will be within walking distance from where you’ll be living. If no coworking space, great internet in the homes we are staying in.

 

3) Airport Transportation

• We provide up to $50 reimbursement to and from the airport to your accommodations. 

 

4) Four Paid Activities (for month trips)

• We will organize four local activities so you can experience the culture of where you’ll be. This could include outdoor activities, humanitarian activities, cooking classes, etc.

 

5) Onsite Staff

• A member of our program staff will be available to you during your time. They can answer questions you have during your stay.

 

Pricing Details

Pricing for 1 Week Option - (1-week trip option available for 1-month trips) 

​

The total cost for the one-week option is $750. There will be two payments

​

First payment: $350 non-refundable deposit. 

You will need to pay the deposit fee within seven days after acceptance.

​

Second payment: $400. 

You need to pay the final payment at least three weeks before the trip start date. If you prefer to pay in segments before the trip, talk to your Monthly Roamers representative.

 

$1,000 for a private room for our 1-week trip. (subject to change, based on availability)

(For Adventure Roamers trips - Each day we will have planned activities to do. If you need to work, there is some time before and after activities.)

 

Pricing for the Two Week Option

The total cost for the two-week option is $1,500. There will be two payments.

​

First payment: $350 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.

You will need to pay the deposit fee within seven days after acceptance.

 

Second payment: $1,150.

You need to pay the final payment at least three weeks before the trip start date. If you prefer to pay in segments before the trip, talk to your Monthly Roamers representative.

The total cost of the month trip is $2,300. There will be two payments.

 

First payment: $350 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.

You will need to pay the deposit fee within seven days after acceptance.

 

Second payment: $1,950.

You need to pay the final payment at least three weeks before the trip start date. If you prefer to pay in segments before the trip, talk to your Monthly Roamers representative.

How To Roam With Us

 

There are five simple steps to joining us on our next adventure. See below for details:

 

Step 1 - Apply

• Choose a location

• Submit your application

• (Shortly after you apply, you will receive an email prompting you to schedule a phone interview with a Monthly Roamers representative.)

 

Step 2 - Phone Interview

• Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you want to come

• We will let you know within five business days if you’ve been accepted

 

Step 3 - Pay Your Deposit

• Pay a non-refundable $350 deposit to save your spot

• The rest of your payment will be due three weeks before the trip start date.

 

Step 4 - Book Your Flight

• Check round-trip flights to the destination

• Book your flight or plan your drive! (You can ask our team for advice on where to find flight deals).

 

Step 5 - We Do The Rest!

• Travel reimbursement to and from the airport

• Accommodations - private room, furnished

• Co-working space that you’ll have access to (month trips)

• Four paid activities or events

• Onsite staff for anything trip-related and to organize optional activities
